The idea may have been done before, but hey, why not take our own spin on it?
Pentris is a block puzzle game using pentominoes as pieces, instead of the usual tetrominoes. Stack the pieces on the grid, and try to clear as many horizontal lines as you can!
Choose between "Random" and "Bag" piece generation!
By clearing enough lines, you build up "Pent-Up Energy" which you can then release to automatically clear two random lines! Be careful though, because you can only do this three times.
Set your starting difficulty and try to beat the high score!

Install instructions
On Windows, you can either download the Installer or HTML. The HTML file works on all operating systems by running the game in your default web browser, even if you aren't connected to the internet.
If you want to run the Windows version on Linux via Proton, we recommend using Proton-GE with the "Portable" download of Pentris. Download the .zip, extract it to your desired location, then add "Pentris.exe" to Steam. Make sure to set the compatibility tool to Proton-GE.
